Tasting notes

Spicy notes of black pepper, cinnamon and cloves are layered atop black cherry and chocolate. The palate is soft and juicy with a long velvety finish.

It is a richer, more savoury red.

Made from Shiraz grapes grown on Koffieklip soils ('Coffee stone')

Origin - Stellenbosch

Grape variety - 100% Shiraz

Contains sulphites. ABV 14%

Food pairing

Pair with bold, savoury dishes. Try it with slow-cooked lamb, braised beef, steak, smoky barbecue, boerewors, mushroom risotto or mature hard cheese.
