Why South African wine?
South Africa produces an exciting range of wines across different grapes, regions and styles. Vintgat focuses entirely on South African wine and brings together a smaller, carefully selected range to make discovering it easier.
Can I mix my own selection?
Yes. You can mix and match any three individual bottles from the Wine Shop. You can also choose one of our ready-made three-bottle selections or a six-bottle Cape Crush collection.
Can I buy Cape Crush without subscribing?
Yes. Cape Crush is available as a one-off six-bottle case, subject to availability. You can also subscribe if you would like to receive a new curated selection each month.
What is the minimum order?
The minimum order for individual wines is three bottles. You can mix any three bottles from the Wine Shop. Ready-made trios and Cape Crush cases can be purchased as complete products.
When will my wine arrive?
Orders to standard delivery areas are usually dispatched using a next-working-day courier service once your order has been processed and payment has cleared.
Delivery may occasionally be affected by courier delays, seasonal demand, supplier availability, adverse weather or circumstances outside our control.
Where do you deliver?
We currently deliver to England, Wales and mainland Scotland.
We do not currently deliver to:
- The Scottish Highlands
- The Scottish Islands
- Northern Ireland
- The Channel Islands
- The Isle of Man
- The Republic of Ireland
- BFPO addresses
Standard delivery is £9.95. Delivery is free on orders over £150.
What happens if my order arrives damaged or does not arrive?
Please contact us as soon as possible at info@vintgat.co.uk, including your order number and, where relevant, photographs of the damaged parcel and contents.
We will review the issue and arrange an appropriate replacement, refund or other resolution where applicable.
Can I pause or skip a Cape Crush subscription?
Yes. You can manage your subscription through your customer account.
Changes must be made before the monthly cut-off date, which is five days before your renewal on the first of the month.
Do you offer corporate wine gifts?
Yes. Vintgat can help with curated South African wine gifts for clients, teams and special occasions.
Please email info@vintgat.co.uk with the approximate number of gifts required, preferred bottle quantity, delivery requirements and timing. We will respond with suitable options.
